With the recent announcement of Halo Studios and the Halo brand moving to the Unreal Engine I wanted to take this moment to celebrate and appreciate everything Halo has meant to me for the last 25 years.
This is one of those pieces and it serves as a reminder, the very same that Bungie gave me way back in the day, that anything is possible and you can achieve anything, anywhere.
That is why I built this on Unity, specifically on the Built-In Render Pipeline with the Standard Shader and Post Processing Stack V3 and using generations old content (Halo 4 focused) just to show not only what is possible, but how much more you could do depending on where you'd want to push things (more modern content, more fidelity, custom shaders, other render pipelines, etc).
Built to run in real time across devices. I have a technical showcase for this scene planned for the future.
This one is focused on the incredible character of Cortana.
